Lecturers and Students of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Conduct Mini Solar Car Training at MAN 1 Bandar Lampung

Lecturers and students from the Electrical Engineering Department of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia once again carried out a Community Service Program (PKM) as part of the university’s commitment to supporting educational development and technological advancement among students. This activity was held at MAN 1 Bandar Lampung through a Mini Solar Car training workshop. The program aimed to inspire and foster young students’ interest in science and technology, particularly in the field of renewable energy. During the activity, students were introduced to the basic concepts of solar energy and its potential as an environmentally friendly alternative energy source. In addition to receiving theoretical explanations, the students were also invited to participate in a hands-on training session assembling Mini Solar Cars powered by solar panels. Through this practical experience, students were able to understand how sunlight can be converted into electrical energy and then used to power a small vehicle. Throughout the activity, the students showed great enthusiasm. They actively asked questions, engaged in discussions, and carefully followed each step of the assembly process. This demonstrated that the training not only provided new knowledge but also encouraged curiosity and strengthened students’ interest in technology. The supervising lecturer stated that the Mini Solar Car training is part of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia’s commitment to improving scientific and technological literacy among students, while also introducing the concept of renewable energy utilization from an early age. Through this community service activity, it is hoped that students will gain broader insights into solar energy technology and become motivated to continue learning and innovating in the fields of science and technology in the future. Electrical Engineering Students of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Conduct Community Service Program at SMAN 1 Mesuji Timur

The Community Service Program (PKM) organized by the Electrical Engineering Department of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia was once again successfully carried out as a form of the university’s commitment to contributing to society. This time, the activity took place at SMAN 1 Mesuji Timur, focusing on the utilization of renewable energy through the assembly of an automatic fan powered by a solar panel. The program involved lecturers and students from the Electrical Engineering Department who shared their knowledge and practical skills with the students of SMAN 1 Mesuji Timur. During the session, participants were introduced to the basic concepts of solar energy and how simple technology can be utilized to generate environmentally friendly electrical power. In addition to theoretical explanations, the students were also invited to directly participate in a hands-on workshop assembling an automatic fan powered by solar panels. Through this practical activity, the students were able to understand how sunlight can be converted into electrical energy and then used to operate electronic devices. The enthusiasm of the students from SMAN 1 Mesuji Timur was clearly visible throughout the activity. They actively asked questions and eagerly followed each step of the assembly process. This demonstrates that the PKM activity not only provided new knowledge but also helped foster students’ interest in technology, particularly in the fields of electrical engineering and renewable energy. The supervising lecturer stated that this activity is part of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia’s commitment to improving technological literacy among students and introducing environmentally friendly energy innovations from an early stage. Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, through the Metaverse Center of Excellence (JUARAMETA), conducted a Community Service Program (PKM) with the theme “AI for Metaverse Creation” at MAN 1 Metro.

This activity was enthusiastically attended by the students of MAN 1 Metro through a presentation on creating virtual worlds in Roblox using an AI 3D Generator. The session continued with hands-on practice importing 3D assets and the publishing process in Roblox Studio, followed by a direct experience trying VR/Oculus to explore virtual worlds. Through this activity, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia is committed to providing technology literacy, innovation, and metaverse insights for the younger generation as Future Digital Leaders.

The Center of Excellence Smart Agriculture of Teknokrat Indonesia University carried out Community Service activities at MAN 1 Metro.

The Center of Excellence for Smart Agriculture at Teknokrat Indonesia University (UTI) once again held a Community Service activity at MAN 1 Metro. During this activity, the COE team presented an innovative Internet of Things (IoT)-based drip irrigation device, a smart agricultural solution capable of automatically and efficiently regulating plant watering, based on digital technology. Through interactive presentations and live demonstrations of the device, students were introduced to how the system works, helping farmers save water, time, and energy by utilizing modern technology. The activity was enthusiastically received by the students, who actively participated in every session, from the introduction of the concept to the implementation of the device in the field. Community Service Activities at Gajah Mada Vocational School, Bandar Lampung

CoE Smart Agriculture held a Community Service activity at Gajah Mada Vocational High School, Bandar Lampung, on January 15, 2026, as a commitment to supporting technology-based educational transformation. The activity began with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and an Agreement (IA) as a strategic step in building sustainable collaboration between educational institutions and agricultural technology innovation centers. Through a workshop themed “Digitalizing Agriculture through IoT-Based Drip Irrigation Systems,” students gained a comprehensive understanding of the application of the Internet of Things (IoT) to improve the efficiency and intelligence of modern agricultural systems. The Community Service (PKM) Team from Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia once again conducted an educational outreach program entitled “Assembling an Automatic Solar-Powered Fan as an Implementation of Renewable Energy.” This activity was held at SMAN 15 Bandar Lampung as a tangible contribution of the university in introducing environmentally friendly technology to students at an early stage. The program was designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the utilization of solar energy as a clean and sustainable alternative energy source. In addition to theoretical explanations, participants were directly involved in hands-on assembly activities, enabling them to understand how such technology can be applied in everyday life. The materials delivered during the activity included: The activity was conducted through interactive presentations, open discussions, and hands-on practice sessions. Participants were guided systematically, starting from understanding the circuit design, installing the components, to integrating the automation system so that the fan could operate efficiently using solar energy. The program received positive responses from students, who demonstrated strong enthusiasm during both practical sessions and discussions. It is expected that this activity will broaden students’ knowledge, enhance their technical skills, and encourage greater awareness of sustainable and environmentally friendly technology.
