COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM (PKM)PKM Team – Universitas Teknokrat Indonesiaat SMAN 15 Bandar Lampung

The Community Service (PKM) Team from Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia once again conducted an educational outreach program entitled “Assembling an Automatic Solar-Powered Fan as an Implementation of Renewable Energy.” This activity was held at SMAN 15 Bandar Lampung as a tangible contribution of the university in introducing environmentally friendly technology to students at an early stage. The program was designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the utilization of solar energy as a clean and sustainable alternative energy source. In addition to theoretical explanations, participants were directly involved in hands-on assembly activities, enabling them to understand how such technology can be applied in everyday life. The materials delivered during the activity included: The activity was conducted through interactive presentations, open discussions, and hands-on practice sessions. Participants were guided systematically, starting from understanding the circuit design, installing the components, to integrating the automation system so that the fan could operate efficiently using solar energy. The program received positive responses from students, who demonstrated strong enthusiasm during both practical sessions and discussions. It is expected that this activity will broaden students’ knowledge, enhance their technical skills, and encourage greater awareness of sustainable and environmentally friendly technology. Through this PKM program, the PKM Team of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to supporting practice-based education and strengthening collaboration between universities and schools in shaping an innovative and environmentally conscious generation.

Assembling an Automatic Solar Panel Fan as an Implementation of Renewable Energy at MAN 1 Metro

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM (PKM)Electrical Engineering Study Program – Universitas Teknokrat Indonesiaat MAN 1 Metro On the day of the activity, the Electrical Engineering Study Program of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia conducted a Community Service Program (PKM) at MAN 1 Metro under the theme “Assembling an Automatic Solar Panel Fan as an Implementation of Renewable Energy.” This activity represents a concrete implementation of the university’s tridharma (three pillars of higher education), particularly in the aspect of community service. It also reflects a collaborative effort between higher education institutions and secondary schools to enhance students’ competencies in electrical technology and renewable energy. The PKM aimed to provide both theoretical understanding and practical skills regarding the utilization of solar energy as an environmentally friendly and sustainable alternative energy source. During the activity, students received materials covering: The implementation method included interactive lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice sessions. Participants were guided step-by-step in assembling the circuit, starting from installing the solar panel, connecting the energy storage system, to integrating an automatic control system that enables the fan to operate efficiently using sunlight as the primary energy source. The participants demonstrated strong enthusiasm through active involvement in practical sessions and question-and-answer discussions. This activity not only enriched their theoretical knowledge but also enhanced their technical skills and creativity in designing renewable energy–based systems. Through this PKM activity, it is expected that: The Electrical Engineering Study Program of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia remains committed to contributing to the advancement of science and technology through impactful community service activities that benefit the education sector and the wider community.
