On April 2, 2024, the Center of Excellence for Software Development (COE for Software Development), in collaboration with UKM PROTEK and under the auspices of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, participated in the “Cooperation Design Discussion Meeting” between the Lampung Police State Police School (SPN) and Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia. The purpose of this event was to discuss the development of the Lampung Police SPN application. This important meeting took place at Jl. Terusan Ryacudu No. 1, South Lampung, which is the location of the Lampung Police office. This activity is part of a strategic initiative to strengthen synergy between the academic world and law enforcement institutions, especially in the development of technology that supports police duties. In this meeting, various topics were discussed, including the importance of technological innovation in modernizing the education system at the Lampung Police SPN. The application that is designed is expected to be able to increase efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness in the implementation of various education and training programs organized by SPN. Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, through COE for Software Development and UKM PROTEK, is committed to providing technological solutions that are not only sophisticated but also tailored to the specific needs of SPN Polda Lampung. With this application, it is hoped that the administration and management processes at SPN can be carried out in a more structured manner and easily accessible to all parties involved. In addition, this discussion also discussed the potential for further collaboration in the future, which includes the development of other software as well as training and capacity building of human resources in the field of information technology for police personnel. This collaboration is a concrete step in an effort to support digital transformation in police institutions, especially in the SPN Polda Lampung environment. With support from the academic world, it is hoped that innovations like this can continue to be developed to support increasingly complex police tasks in the digital era. Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, through COE for Software Development and UKM PROTEK, demonstrates its commitment to encouraging technological development in various sectors, including in the fields of security and law enforcement. This is in line with the university’s vision to become a center for innovation and technological development that can contribute significantly to society. The meeting ended with an agreement to continue the next stages in the development process of the Lampung Police SPN application, with the hope that this collaboration will soon produce real results that are beneficial to both parties and the wider community.
