The Center of Excellence for Smart Agriculture at Teknokrat Indonesia University (UTI) once again held a Community Service activity at MAN 1 Metro. During this activity, the COE team presented an innovative Internet of Things (IoT)-based drip irrigation device, a smart agricultural solution capable of automatically and efficiently regulating plant watering, based on digital technology. Through interactive presentations and live demonstrations of the device, students were introduced to how the system works, helping farmers save water, time, and energy by utilizing modern technology.
The activity was enthusiastically received by the students, who actively participated in every session, from the introduction of the concept to the implementation of the device in the field. In addition to broadening their knowledge, this activity also provided practical experience that opened their eyes to how IoT technology can be applied in modern agriculture. It is hoped that this program will further motivate students to develop skills in digital technology and contribute to creating more advanced and sustainable agricultural innovations in the future.
