Teknokrat University of Indonesia (UTI) together with Polytechnic State of Lampung (POLINELA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as well as Implementing Agreement (IA) between the UTI Computer Engineering S1 study programme and the POLINELA Seedling Technology S1 programme. The collaboration focuses on the implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) technology to grow indoor premium hydroponic melons. The IoT technology applied in the project aims to improve the efficiency and efficiency of melon planting, as well as produce fruit with the best quality. The head of the study program at S1 Computer Engineering UTI, Styawati, S.T., M.Cs., explained that the application of IoT technology in these hydroponic farms enables monitoring and management of the growing environment of crops in real-time. “With sensors and IoT devices integrated, we can regulate environmental conditions optimally to ensure maximum melon growth,” he added. The head of the S1 POLINELA seed technology study programme, Dr. Anung Wahyudi, S.P., M.Sc., stated that this collaboration is an important step in the development of agricultural technology in Indonesia. “This collaboration opens new opportunities for us to develop more efficient and productive planting methods, using IoT technology developed by UTI,” he said. Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Gelar Workshop Digital Leadership untuk Kembangkan Kompetensi AI dan Metaverse

  Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia recently held a Digital Leadership Workshop with the theme “Pioneering Leadership in AI & Metaverse Era”. The event aimed to expand participants’ knowledge and experience in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and the metaverse. The workshop was attended by 117 students and 25 teachers who were divided into three classes, each focusing on the topics of AI, Metaverse, and Virtual Reality in the context of education. The material on AI was delivered by Ridwan Mahenra, S.Kom., M.CS, a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science. Meanwhile, the topics of Metaverse and Virtual Reality were presented by the student development team. Vice Rector of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, Dr. H Mahathir Muhammad, SE, MM, stated that this activity is an important step to prepare human resources who can adapt quickly to technological advances. Students of the S1 Study Program Computer Engineering won gold medals at the international competition DIIID 6th, 2024, University of Technology Mara, Johor Malaysia Branch

Students of the S1 Computer Engineering Study Program at Teknokrat University of Indonesia (UTI) won a gold medal at the International Competition for Digitalized International Invention, Innovation, and Design (6th DIIID) at Mara Cawangan Johor Technology University, Malaysia, in 2024. The gold medal was awarded to UTI students in the category “Science & Technology: Tertiary” for their technology, “Implementation of Smart Irrigation Based on AI and IoT to Increase Water Use Efficiency in South Lampung Farmer Group Chili Plantations.” The journey to this achievement is full of challenges and dedication. The team consists of Dian Tri Saputra, Rezi Dwi Agustian, Chafidz Asyad (S1 Computer Engineering), and Abiyyu Ikbar Fikri K. (S1 Sastra Inggris). Under the guidance of lecturers Styawati S.T., M.Cs., and Ridwan Mahenra, S.Kom., MCS. (AI), the team worked hard for months to develop intelligent irrigation systems based on AI and IoT. The system is designed to improve the efficiency of water use on the land of the peasantry group in southern Lampung. From research and development to field testing, everything is done carefully and enthusiastically to create innovative and applicable solutions. The competition was followed by various renowned universities from home and abroad. Among them are the Malaysian Technical University of Malaka, Urmia University/Faculty of Chemistry, MARA University of Technology, Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Polytechnic, Padang State University, Lampung University, and Jambi University. Metaverse for Education Workshop Help Lampung students have Strengthening Digital Education

Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Best PTS ASEAN continues to support the improvement of the quality of education in Lampung Province. Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia held a Metaverse Workshop for Education at Auditorium Gd. A Teknokrat Indonesia University with the theme “Pioneering Leadership in Metaverse Era”. Wednesday, June 12, 2024 This industrial visit activity was opened directly by the Vice Rector IV for Cooperation and General Dr. Ryan Randi Suryono, M.Kom. followed by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia and SMK PGRI 2 Kedondong Pesawaran. This workshop provides new experiences and knowledge about Metaverse to improve Digital Education Strengthening. During the industrial visit, 50 students and 4 teachers from SMK PGRI 2 Kedondong Pesawaran who participated in this workshop looked enthusiastic. In addition to attending the workshop, the students and teachers toured the facilities at Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia such as; Dr. HM Nasrullah Yusuf Student Indoor Gym, Digital Business Mac Laboratory, and Studio Learning.
