The Metaverse Development Team at the university conducted a workshop on the utilization of metaverse technology for sports for Teknokrat University students on Monday, August 14, 2023.
This workshop was led by the Head of Metaverse Development at Teknokrat University, Yuri Rahmanto, S.Kom., M.Kom., and moderated by Sports Education Lecturer Imam Mahfud, M.Pd.
Dr. H. Mahathir Muhammad, SE., MM., Vice Rector of Teknokrat University, expressed appreciation for the university’s Metaverse development team.
“This activity marks the initial steps in introducing VR and metaverse development for sports. With this technology, individuals can experience the sensation of their desired sports while reducing the risk of injury,” stated Dr. Mahathir.
